Logan Evan Thomas

Producer & Composer

Logan Evan Thomas is an international award-winning pianist, composer, and producer residing in New York City.  He has studied and worked with some of the biggest names in the industry and has performed all over the world.  Logan's background in film and television scoring brings a particular and valuable acumen to the Bfast Studios team.

In 2010, he was honored to win 1st place at the Nottingham International Jazz Piano Competition, as well as finish 2nd place at the Montreux International Jazz Piano Competition.  The previous year, Logan was 1 out of 4 pianists nationwide chosen to participate in Fred Hersch's "Solo Duo Trio" workshop and present a concert in Carnegie Hall.  In college, Logan was honored to win in the "Best Arrangement" category, as well as "Best Original Composition" category of the "Downbeat Student Music Awards".  Under his music brand, Caverock Music, Logan has composed and produced various music for film and TV–notables include "A View From Sunset Park," which won Best New York Documentary at the 2010 NY International Film Festival–as well as a plethora of talented artists of multiple genres.  He is the founding member and producer of the collective group Manner Effect who’s debut album “Abundance” made it on the 2012 GRAMMY ballot.  

Logan tours internationally as a pianist for Postmodern Jukebox.
